    Looked for this place for years. Somewhat off the beaten path on Park north of Valencia. But Wow! Very friendly great food and BBQ the had my inner so. Bell miss my home GA. Thank you and will be back soon!

    Stopped in for lunch yesterday and I decided to try the Pork Ribs plate with a side of Macaroni & Cheese alongside some Collard greens. ($12.75) I got 5 bones "dry"  with BBQ sauce on the side. They had excellent smoke flavor and mouth watering tenderness. The greens were good with meat chunks instead of bacon. But the Mac n cheese needed more body and cheesiness. Still a good lunch though and decent value!

    First visit. Terrific meats and sauce (we had the 3 meat platters).
    Mac-n-cheese great if you add salt, but I knew ahead because I asked and he let me sample it. One bite of cornbread: dry, bland. One bite of cole slaw: CINNAMON??? Chatty, friendly guy at the counter.

    It's been quite a while since I've tasted the OG location of Mr K's BBQ..... Got the rib plate with greens and candied yams. Very flavorful meal with that "mama used to make" taste!  It was a good sized portion for the price, the ribs just were lacking meat on them. Our food was fresh & hot that paralleled the value. Authentic backyard style food is dished out from Mr K's BBQ on South Park Avenue. Mom & Pop restaurants always make you feel right at home. We'll be back soon to try out other menu items, plus the desserts too. We seen the pecan pie slices & cheesecake!  We recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting bonafide Que!
